Fusion Therma Shield 162
Fusion has developed the ‘Fusion Therma Shield 162’ thermally insulated wall panel, which gives an elemental wall U-value of 0.21 W/m2K - when used with a masonry outer skin. Fusion will provide advice on the U-values achievable with other cladding systems. 

U-values as low as 0.12 W/m2K are achievable with the use of complimentary insulation products.  The ‘Fusion Therma Shield 162’ system has excellent thermal performance properties (Psi values) – the system can be designed to achieve 0.04. 
 
An A++ rating is achieved for this ‘warm frame’ system under the BRE Green Guide to Specification.

Fusion's low U-value and associated high air tightness levels are of great benefit when it comes to designing buildings to achieve an excellent BER (Building Energy Rating) or meeting the requirements of the Code for Sustainable Homes.

Fusion’s premium steel frame buildings, with ‘Fusion Therma Shield 162’ external walls, will ensure excellent energy ratings.
